TOSHIBA Aurex AD-4 Address Unit ADRES is an abbreviation for AUTOMATIC DYNAMIC RANGE EXPANSION SYSTEM, a noise reduction standard for tape decks developed by Toshiba. This is an external unit for it. [Condition] ◎ This is a rare and valuable working unit. How about it as a spare for those who already own one? ◎ Overall in clean condition. No malfunctions. Please check the condition in the images. Operation has been confirmed. Both input and output levels are adjustable, but the adjustment volume is slightly stiff. No pets or smokers in the household. After removing dust, the unit has been cleaned with alcohol. The color may differ slightly from the actual product due to the shooting environment. Please check the condition in the images. If you cannot make a judgment, please feel free to ask questions. ◎ Everything shown in the photos is included. ◎ For reasons such as preventing fraud, please accept no claims and no returns (NC.NR). ◎ As this is an old piece of equipment, please understand that its original performance cannot be guaranteed. Those who are concerned about minor details or are sensitive should refrain from purchasing. An address unit equipped with a 4-channel address circuit. The AD-4 has 4 built-in address circuits, allowing simultaneous use of address for encoding and address for decoding. Therefore, when used with a 3-head deck, it is possible to simultaneously monitor the decoded signal while recording. Since two decks can be connected, mutual dubbing between decks is possible without going through the address circuit. You can directly dub tapes with the address encoded signal or in normal mode.
