Thank you for viewing. This is a remnant of high-quality Hon-Shiozawa silk fabric. The flower circle pattern floating on the black background is impressive, and it is a beautiful piece with a deep color. It features the smooth texture and light feel unique to Hon-Shiozawa. The fabric has a slight translucency, giving it a cool and elegant atmosphere. Hon-Shiozawa is a silk plain-woven fabric dyed before weaving, produced in the Shiozawa region of Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. It is also called Shiozawa Omeshi and is a nationally designated traditional craft characterized by its fine crinkles, crisp texture, and intricate kasuri patterns. It belongs to the same technical lineage as Echigo Jofu and Shiozawa Tsumugi, and is primarily worn as a formal unlined kimono from spring to early autumn (according to literature). The flower patterns in blue, crimson, green, and white stand out against the calm black background, creating an elegant atmosphere with a Japanese aesthetic. The chrysanthemums are approximately 12 cm in size, making this a striking pattern for bags, pouches, small accessories, as well as for making clothing such as skirts and tunics. The smooth texture and lightness unique to Hon-Shiozawa are also appealing. Recommended for creating unique handmade or remade items. Approximately 36 cm x 162 cm We also have items of the same length. We appreciate your understanding that this is for remake and handmade use. Please use it as a handmade material. *We strive to photograph the colors as accurately as possible, but they may appear differently depending on your device. *This is a genuine silk remnant from a dismantled kimono. ■Condition There may be signs of dismantling, folding, or remaining threads. We will note any noticeable stains, foxing, or small holes, but there may be oversights. Please purchase with the understanding that this is an old fabric. ■Odor/Ironing There may be storage odors or fold marks that cannot be removed by ironing. ■Color We photograph the colors as close to the actual product as possible, but the appearance may vary depending on the shooting environment and your device. ■Shipping The item will be shipped folded, so please understand that there may be creases from folding. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. ?#OshimaTsumugi ?#PureSilk ?#FabricRemnant ?#KimonoRemake ?#HandmadeMaterial Click here for the manufacturer's site
