Thank you for viewing. This is a very rare, not for sale table runner (art textile) that was distributed exclusively to those involved during the relocation and renovation of the Tobata Civic Hall on November 23, 2002 (Heisei 14). This is a highly valuable masterpiece that reproduces the curtain adorning the stage of the main hall in an exquisite miniature size. [Key Features] ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ● Supervised by Keisui Yamazaki, Member of the Japan Art Academy Created based on the original artwork by the renowned textile artist Keisui Yamazaki, this piece is also valuable as a work of art. ● Beautiful Design Motif of Tobata Gion Oyamakasa An abstract representation of the lantern floats of the Tobata Gion Oyamakasa Festival, a nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property. Gold and silver leaf luxuriously woven into the weft beautifully recreate the festival's light and energy. ● Based on the Highest Quality Tsuzure-ori (Tapestry Weaving) A substantial textile crafted using the finest curtain weaving techniques. The reverse side is a plain, elegant mustard yellow (ochre) fabric, with Tobata Civic Hall Relocation and Renovation Commemorative beautifully inscribed in the lower right corner. The four edges are meticulously finished with a frame-like border. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Its luxurious feel makes it not only suitable as a table runner but also as a tapestry to be displayed on a wall, making for a very impressive craft and art piece. We hope to pass this on to collectors who appreciate the history of Tobata, Kitakyushu, and the works of Keisui Yamazaki. [Size] Width: Approx. 60cm Length: Approx. 30cm [Condition] [New/Unused] There are no noticeable stains or fraying, and the fabric's crispness remains intact. (Please check the images for condition. Please consider this item as a pre-owned item stored at home.) [Shipping] The item will be carefully packaged with measures to prevent water damage (e.g., using an OPP bag) and shipped via anonymous delivery. Immediate purchase is welcome.
