This is our original small insect (ant and roly-poly) habitat. The Hybrid Nest DIY - Medium Tall is based on the traditional Hybrid Nest and allows for custom decoration. You can create your own habitat by laying sand or soil, arranging stones and moss, or using it as is. The Tall version is approximately twice the height of the traditional size, providing ample space for raising insects and expanding arrangement possibilities. The humidification area is also twice as high, allowing for better humidity retention. Maintenance such as refilling the water supply can be done easily and without worrying about ants escaping by simply sliding the glass cover. The cream-colored parts of all products have now been changed to white. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we were unable to obtain the cream color. - Humidification is achieved using cotton or sponge, and the cotton can be easily replaced by simply sliding the glass cover. - Water can be supplied through a small hole on the side, allowing for watering without disturbing the ants. - The habitat will be shipped with cotton inside. - The cover uses high-quality glass, making it scratch-resistant and allowing for clearer observation. - With connection holes on three sides, you can freely connect nests or feeding areas, expanding the habitat as needed. - The sturdy construction ensures safe and secure raising of insects. - The connection holes are screw-type and will not easily come loose, allowing for safe raising and transport. Screw-type plugs are included for all three connection holes during shipping. - The glass cover is secured with magnets on two corners, and a hook on the other side prevents it from easily coming off. Suitable for small to large Japanese ants (such as *Camponotus obscuripes*) as well as exotic ants like green-headed ants, meat ants, and spiny ants, and small insects like roly-polies.
