We created a special tall bottle because Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle larvae build their pupal chambers vertically. This is a carefully crafted bottle that allows you to clearly observe the larvae, pupae, and emergence through the clear sides, filled with nutrient-rich fermented substrate and shipped to you. Simply add your Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle larvae to this bottle and they're ready to be raised. It comes with ventilation holes and a special filter to prevent drain flies from entering. Quantity: Set of 4 bottles Additional bottles can be purchased. We will ship the quantity you desire. The high-performance clear bottle allows for excellent observation of larval growth and feeding marks. These are durable bottles that won't break even if dropped. This premium, brand-new Himalayan King Oyster Mushroom substrate is made from 100% Quercus acutissima sawdust, which has been researched over many years and found to be most effective for Japanese Rhinoceros Beetles. It's packed into the bottle. Nutrient additives have been mixed in to help the larvae grow larger. Symbiotic bacteria have also been blended in. By incorporating bacteria, the symbiotic microorganisms within the digestive tract that break down cellulose and other protein sources become more active, improving nutrient absorption. Feeding this from the early larval stages leads to larger adult sizes. Experiments have shown that larvae raised on premium fermented substrate rich in symbiotic microorganisms like internal bacteria grow significantly larger than those raised on commercially available substrates. We do not use any waste substrate discarded by mushroom farms. Instead, we crush brand-new substrate made from Quercus acutissima sawdust and carefully ferment it for a long period in a controlled indoor environment. This is our ultimate, meticulously crafted substrate, completed with significant time and high cost investment. Most common fermented substrates from other companies use waste substrate discarded by mushroom farms as their raw material, resulting in lower nutritional value. Furthermore, inexpensive substrates are often fermented outdoors, leading to the inclusion of various insects and drain fly eggs, which then infest your breeding setup. Our Himalayan King Oyster Mushroom Fermented Substrate uses only brand-new substrate, carefully fermented indoors, ensuring a 100% absence of unwanted insects, so no pests or drain flies will appear during breeding. The bottle lid features a special filter to prevent drain flies from entering from the outside. Many Japanese Rhinoceros Beetles measuring 88mm have emerged from this substrate.
