This is a handcrafted rattan basket bag purchased in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. This exquisite piece is carefully woven from natural rattan, featuring a beautiful gradient from deep brown to black (tie-dye) that gives it an antique-like charm. The handle is made of high-quality genuine leather, which fits comfortably in your hand, adding a touch of elegance to the rustic design of the basket bag. It is versatile and can be paired not only with traditional Japanese attire (kimono and yukata) but also with casual outfits like denim. A pink Thai silk inner bag has been added to the inside (this was done by an amateur). It can be removed if not needed, or you can replace it with your preferred lining. [Size] Width: Approx. 27cm Height: Approx. 19cm (excluding handle) Depth: Approx. 10.5cm Handle: Approx. 44cm *Please note that measurements are taken by an amateur and may have slight errors. *Due to the slightly rounded bottom, the bag may not stand upright depending on how it is placed. *As this is a long-term storage item, the handle has a slight crease. There are some scuffs on the rattan. *The plastic bottle in the 10th image is for size comparison only. Please feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions.
