SEIKO CROWN SPECIAL DIASHOCK 23 JEWELS 14K GOLDFILLED J14100 This is a used manual-wind watch. This is the Crown Special, released in 1961 by Suwa Seiko. At the time, the Grand Seiko was prohibitively expensive, so this model was released as a high-end watch with a relatively affordable price. The Crown Special can be considered a minor variation of the Grand Seiko. It features a hacking (second hand stop) function. The caliber is 341. Based on the serial number, it is believed to be manufactured in December 1961. Case size: Approximately 34.5mm (excluding crown) Lug width: 18mm [Case] There are some minor scratches and dents. The gold-filled case is beautiful. Please check the photos. [Dial] There is very slight degradation, but the dial is clean. The indices are solid gold because it is an SD dial. [Movement] ◎ Overhauled before listing. (2026.4) The accuracy is good, within 10-20 seconds per day when laid flat. To prevent issues, I always have the watches overhauled. I entrust the overhauls to a highly reliable, veteran, first-class watchmaker, so I believe the condition is good. [Crystal] ◎ Not new, but in good condition. [Strap] ◎ An unused aftermarket leather strap has been attached. There may be some details I have overlooked, so please ask any questions you may have before purchasing if there is anything of concern. This watch is suitable for those who understand used, vintage, and antique items. Thank you. Click here for the manufacturer's site
