Thank you for viewing. These are seedlings of Ishikura Ipponbuto Negi, a representative variety of single-stem leeks, which are consistently popular for home gardens and container cultivation. ■ Variety Characteristics of Ishikura Ipponbuto Negi Long and Thick White Shaft: The biggest feature is that the white shaft grows long and thick through soil mounding (blanching). Exceptional Sweetness and Flavor: The fibers are soft, and when heated, they develop a melt-in-your-mouth sweetness. Ideal for hot pots, grilled leeks, and simmered dishes. Cold Hardy: It has very high cold resistance, and its sweetness becomes even more concentrated when exposed to winter cold. ■ Cultivation and Harvest Tips Non-branching: Unlike Kujo leeks, it does not branch (wake-tsu) but grows into a single thick stem. Therefore, each leek becomes a substantial and satisfying vegetable. Create a White Shaft by Mounding Soil: By gradually covering the leeks with soil as they grow (soil mounding), you can harvest beautiful white leeks like those sold in supermarkets. ■ Product Details Sowing Period: November 2025 (overwintered seedlings) Quantity: 50 seedlings (+ extra seedlings included) Condition: Uprooted seedlings (harvested after order, wrapped in newspaper, etc., for packing) ■ Important Information Regarding Purchase and Delivery Shipping Period: Will be shipped within 1-7 days after placing your order. Planting: These are bare-root seedlings, so prompt planting upon arrival is recommended. －－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－ ?【Please Understand and Acknowledge】 As seedlings are natural products, there will be individual differences in shape, size, and color. Please purchase with the understanding that there may be some changes during shipping (wilting, breakage, etc.). Rest assured, they will establish roots firmly after planting. * Depending on the size, the leaf tips may be cut for shipping. * Returns and refunds are not accepted. * As these are natural seedlings, there may be some variation in size, and shipping may be delayed or advanced due to weather conditions. * Specific shipping dates cannot be requested. －－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－ 【Hashtags】#NegiSeedlings #LeekSeedlings #IshikuraIpponbutoNegi #SingleStemLeek #WhiteLeek #LongLeek #VegetableSeedlings #UprootedSeedlings #HomeGardening #BalconyGardening #ContainerGardening #OpenFieldCultivation #DirectFromFarmer #OverwinteredSeedlings #HotPot #BudgetFriendly #Horticulture #Agriculture #100Seedlings #HyogoPrefecture #MudLeek #KitchenGarden #Leek Click here for the manufacturer's site
