Thank you for viewing.

This is a sukiyabukuro (tea ceremony bag) remade from a **recycled** **genuine silk fukuro obi** (a type of formal kimono sash).

This sukiyabukuro was remade from a fukuro obi with a retro color scheme featuring a noshi (gift ribbon) pattern with flowers and plants woven into it.
It has turned out to be a cute, retro-style sukiyabukuro with a charming chrysanthemum design.
(The obi itself is not an antique.)

The surface of the obi fabric has a smooth texture. I think the way gold threads are woven in places, like flowing sand, is lovely. (Though it's difficult to capture well in photos.)

**Noshi (Gift Ribbon)**: This is an auspicious pattern symbolizing receiving blessings from many people, connections between people, and longevity due to its length. It carries various celebratory meanings.

How about using it for occasions celebrating new beginnings?

This item is remade from a used obi. There are no noticeable stains, but there may be fold creases or marks from being tied. Please only purchase if you understand this.

A thick non-woven fusible interfacing has been applied to the outer fabric, and the lining is made from the obi's original lining.

**External dimensions when the flap is closed:** Approximately 215mm (width) x 145mm (height). Includes a magnetic clasp.

This bag can be used for various purposes such as Mother's Day gifts, party bags, wedding bags, sukiyabukuro, goshuincho (temple/shrine stamp book) cases, fukusa (tea ceremony cloth) pouches, gifts, and more.

This is a handmade item. While each piece is carefully crafted, it may not be perfect in fine details. We appreciate your understanding of handmade items.
