I'm not sure of the market price, so I've listed it at a tentative price. This is a Regent euphonium made by Boosey & Hawkes, a long-established British wind instrument manufacturer before being integrated into Besson. It features the soft, warm tone characteristic of Boosey & Hawkes and can be widely used for brass bands, ensembles, and individual practice. Recently, a silver-plated model was traded overseas for around 300,000 yen. ⸻ Manufacturer & Model • Manufacturer: Boosey & Hawkes • Model: Regent • Country of Manufacture: United Kingdom ⸻ Specifications • Key: B♭ • Finish: Lacquer • Number of Valves: 3 (Top Action) • Compensating System: None *Please check the photos for exact specifications, as some details are unclear. If you have any questions, please ask. ⸻ Condition • Shows signs of use overall / Condition commensurate with age • Dents, lacquer peeling, and scratches are present. • The pistons feel slightly heavy for a non-compensating model, but it is playable without issue. *This is based on subjective observation. Please be sure to ask about any concerns before purchasing. ⸻ Accessories • Main unit • Hard case *Everything shown in the photos is included. ⸻ Notes • This is a used instrument, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition item. • We will perform a light cleaning before shipping. • Due to the nature of musical instruments, we ask for no claims and no returns. ⸻ Recommended for: • Those who want a Besson but want to experience British sound at an affordable price. • Students or those who want to start playing the euphonium as a hobby. • Those interested in vintage/old instruments. #euphonium #BooseyAndHawkes #Regent #windinstrument #brassinstrument #brassband #ensemble Click here for the manufacturer's site
