RS Prussia Art Nouveau Celery Dish Vanity Tray Molded Floral Gilt Porcelain c1900 Antique • Authentic RS Prussia molded porcelain • Elegant Art Nouveau flowing scroll form • Originally designed as a celery dish for formal dining service • Equally desirable today as a vanity or dresser tray • Signature blush ivory and chocolate airbrushed shading • Raised molded floral relief with gilded highlights • Romantic floral transfer decoration • Collector-preferred molded shape • Original green RS Prussia underglaze mark • Circa 1900 German art porcelain Mockups of dish in dining and vanity settings included in photos. Offered is an authentic Art Nouveau porcelain celery dish produced circa 1900 by the renowned Reinhold Schlegelmilch porcelain works of Suhl, Germany, widely collected under the RS Prussia name. The elongated molded form was originally intended for formal dining service — traditionally used to present celery, relishes, or olives — yet its sculptural elegance also made it popular for use on dressers and vanities. The tray features RS Prussia's signature blush ivory ground with soft chocolate airbrushed shading and romantic floral transfer decoration. Flowing asymmetrical scrollwork, raised molded floral relief, and hand-applied gilding exemplify the naturalistic design of the Art Nouveau period. Molded forms such as this are especially prized among collectors compared to standard flat wares.
