This is a soft case for a French horn. Manufacturer: Altieri Weight: Approx. 1.3kg Condition: There is a hole in the inner fabric (see 6th image, due to the water key snagging). Other exterior parts have no noticeable scratches or dirt. Purchase Date: 15-20 years ago Usage Frequency: Once a week for 3 years *Stored unused for over 10 years This bag is produced and made by Donna Altieri, who lives in Denver, Colorado, USA. It is characterized by being handmade and ultra-lightweight. I believe it is rare as I have hardly seen anyone else with an Altieri horn case. It features a water-resistant nylon exterior and high heat and humidity resistant quilted material. The soft, cushioned interior provides excellent protection for your valuable instrument. The area protecting the highest part, near the bell, has a firmer cushion. It is a 3-way specification with a handle, shoulder strap, and a carrying strap. It has an inner pocket for storing a mouthpiece and an outer pocket on the back for sheet music. However, when carrying it as a backpack, the zipper cannot be closed, so please be careful of items falling out. It is believed that horns from almost all manufacturers can be stored. The photos show it storing an Alexander 103, but at the time of purchase, it stored a Holton H280. Please view the photos and understand that this item has been stored at home for many years.
