DESCRIPTION A fine souvenir lapel pin from the renowned Steinhart Aquarium at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. This circular enamel piece features a vibrant, stylized Angelfish in yellow and black against a deep sea-blue background. The border is finished in white enamel with gold-tone lettering. The reverse is marked Gift Creations and Made in China, dating this piece to the late 20th century. A wonderful bit of San Francisco history from one of the world's most prestigious aquariums. SIZE Approximately 1 inch in diameter. CONDITION This pin is in good vintage condition. There is light, age-appropriate wear to the gold-tone finish on the reverse and the butterfly clutch. The enamel face remains bright with no major chips or loss. Please see photos for details and ask with any questions. Thanks!
