This is an unlined, single-layer Nagoya obi (matsuba construction).

A large floral and leaf pattern is woven in red tones.
The back of the taiko-drape (double layer) (approx. 109cm) has no woven pattern and is plain (Photos 4 & 6).
The hand-piece side has no woven pattern and is plain (Photos 3 & 7).

Found during a clean-out of my parents' home.
This obi belonged to my mother, who practiced tea ceremony (a Showa-era item).
