【Product】 These are oyster shells (kakigara) grown in the rich and nutrient-dense seas of Hanamaki. They are the perfect item for improving water quality for koi, medaka, goldfish, guppies, clownfish, and more, naturally adjusting pH, and providing a habitat for beneficial bacteria. The seller also uses these for breeding Nishikigoi, medaka, and goldfish. 【Effects】 - Makes difficult overwintering easy by simply adding oyster shells for optimal water quality. - Promotes growth and reproduction by bringing the water closer to neutral to slightly alkaline (pH approx. 7-9), which is preferred by medaka, goldfish, and shellfish. - Stabilizes water quality by providing a habitat for bacteria. - Promotes shell growth for shellfish such as Red Ramshorn snails and Japanese trapdoor snails. 【Listing Details】 - 15+ pieces of non-crushed, sterilized, and cleaned oyster shells. *Can be placed directly into the aquarium as is. 【Size】 - 5cm-15cm 【Ingredients】 - Domestic oyster shells used. - Safe to use as they are edible-grade oyster shells. 【Usage and Precautions】 - Add 1 piece per 10L of water. - Can be used without rinsing. *Recommended to use after a water change or partial water change (to prevent rapid pH increase). 【Hygiene-Conscious Processing Steps】 Thoroughly heat sterilized ? Carefully cleaned by hand ? Salt removed over several days ? Dried Feel free to leave a comment! Immediate purchases without comments are also welcome! Click here for the manufacturer's site
