Vintage Ada Lum Chinese Hand Embroidered Stitched Blue Cloth Doll * Hand Embroidered: Detailed stitching showcases traditional Chinese craftsmanship. * Material: Soft blue cloth gives it a lovely feel. * Design: Dressed in traditional Chinese attire, adding cultural charm. * Vintage: Unique character and history. * The vintage Ada Lum Chinese hand-embroidered cloth doll, approximately 11 inches long, is a collectible item known for its detailed craftsmanship. Ada Lum was a designer who specialized in creating traditional-style Chinese dolls with intricate embroidery, often representing cultural themes. The doll is typically made from blue cloth and features hand-stitched details on the clothing, with facial features, shoes, and hands crafted from fabric. Given its preowned condition, with signs of wear such as dirt on the face, hands, and shoe areas, it reflects its vintage status and use over time. Collectors may still find it valuable due to the artistry and cultural representation, although the condition will affect the value. Vintage cloth dolls like this can range from $30 to $100 depending on the extent of wear, rarity, and the intricacy of the embroidery. * For those interested in cleaning or restoring the doll, careful hand-washing of the fabric parts and gentle surface cleaning of the embroidery may help improve its appearance while preserving its vintage charm.
