Authentic early '80s Mediterranean resort-wear history & a beloved family treasure. Purchased in either Marseille or Barcelona between 1982-1983. Pristine, collector-grade condition with the block-letter PINTO signature screen-printed directly into the border. DESIGN & TEXTURE Features a Late Modernist take on traditional Mediterranean motifs, pairing minimalist geometric circles with clean botanical leaves. Made from premium, light canvas-weight fine cotton (not cheap gauze). Beautifully light-filtering when backlit, yet fully opaque and substantial against the skin or dress form. Colors are remarkably true, vivid turquoise-blue, sunflower yellow, navy, and coral red. No sun damage or fading.
