This is a maternity cape. It features a round collar and can be opened at the sides with buttons to allow the arms to come out. It has a front zipper closure and is lined. Made of a thin, lightweight wool material (90% wool) with a red and black check pattern. The bouclé woven fabric has a soft, fluffy texture, with a slightly pilled appearance throughout. One button is missing on the left side and has been replaced with an alternative red button. This cape was passed down from my mother, but I have never had the opportunity to wear it and have kept it in storage. It's vintage, but the tailoring is solid, and the fabric is of good quality, so I'm offering it for sale.
