These are Trippen Idler boots, the German avant-garde comfort brand founded by Angela Spieth and Michael Oehler, designed in Berlin and made in Germany. The Idler is a unisex lace-up ankle boot built around a deliberately heel-cap-free design — the deep teal (or a blue toned forest green) pebbled leather wraps up the back in soft ribbed, padded folds instead of a stiff heel seam, which is Trippen's own signature comfort feature on this style. Lace-up chukka front with four eyelets and the original waxed cotton laces, round toe, and Trippen's instantly recognizable fan-ridge rubber sole stamped with the brand name. Excellent pre-owned condition overall — the leather is soft and supple with minimal creasing, and the soles show only light wear with the tread pattern fully intact. No flaws to note.
