This is a balafon from Guinea, West Africa. This is an extremely rare, top-class instrument that is rarely found in Japan. It was actually used by a Guinean dance troupe musician, and possesses a depth of sound and presence that mass-produced items lack. - 22 keys (22 notes) - 7-note scale - Tuned starting with G as the lowest note All keys produce a clear sound, resonating with a good balance from low to high notes. It features gourds on the back, retaining the characteristic African buzzing resonance. Including the texture of the wood and signs of age, this instrument is attractive not only as a musical instrument but also as an interior decoration to enhance your space. This is not just an instrument, but a special piece that allows you to feel culture itself. ■Condition - Used (locally used item) - Scratches and scuffs due to use - Natural deterioration on the gourd parts (no impact on sound) *Please check the condition in the photos. ■Accessories - 2 mallets ■Shipping We plan to use Packing and Shipping Mercari便 (Mercari's packing and shipping service). ■Price 120,000 yen ■Recommended Points - Rare item with very limited distribution in Japan - Authentic instrument used by a local dance troupe - Fully functional condition with all keys producing sound - Material: Wood - Accessories: 2 mallets - Type: Xylophone - Manufacturing Method: Handmade Thank you for looking.
