Serial number 814489 is highly likely to be an early model in Leica's manufacturing records, specifically a Leica IIIf manufactured around 1950. Leicas from this period were produced at the Wetzlar factory and are significant pieces from the golden age of film cameras. ▢ Model: Leica IIIf (Barnack Leica) ▢ Year of Manufacture: Circa 1950-1951 Considering its age, the item is in quite good condition (this is a subjective assessment). It was inherited from a relative who was a camera enthusiast and kept it in a vacuum preservation machine for many years. As I do not know how to use it, I cannot answer technical questions, so please understand. (_ _) Those who are knowledgeable, please judge from the photos. We hope it will be used carefully by someone who will cherish it. ✻ Please only purchase if you understand that this is a vintage item. Those who are sensitive should refrain from buying.
