05 DVL-919 Pioneer LD Player Laserdisc Player - Damaged Internal parts have deteriorated, and the pawl that prevents the tray from opening has broken. The other pawl is intact, so there are no issues with tray operation. There may be other signs of deterioration or damage. We will perform an operational check before listing and a simple operational check before packing and shipping. If the item does not work upon arrival, it will be considered a shipping accident. Please only purchase if you are willing to follow the procedure for shipping accidents as described in the help section. This model is highly prone to repeating playback of the same section due to its age. We have performed maintenance to prevent this symptom, and it did not occur during the pre-listing operational check. However, we cannot guarantee it will not occur in the future. If the symptom occurs, please fast-forward slightly. Playback has been confirmed. Switching between Side A and Side B is also confirmed to be working without issue. RCA terminals were used for the operational check. We tested the operation with multiple laserdiscs before listing. For DVDs, we confirmed that the menu screen is displayed and playback is possible. We did not perform extended playback tests. A remote control is required for playback. As part of maintenance, the rubber belt has been replaced with a used, less stretched rubber belt. The pickup lens has been cleaned. Some parts have been greased. There are scratches, dirt, and dents. As this is an old model, there is a possibility of unexpected malfunctions. A common issue is that pressing a button may activate a nearby button. The included accessory is a generic power cable. A remote control is not included. For laserdisc playback itself, you can insert/eject discs, play, stop, fast-forward, rewind, skip chapters, and switch between Side A and Side B using the front panel controls. We do not accept price negotiations. Please purchase with confidence. As this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about its condition. We also ask for no claims and no returns (NC/NR). We plan to ship within the specified timeframe, but we will perform another operational check. This may take some time.
