This guide is characterized by its beauty, combining durability and performance. Superior Heat Dissipation SiC has an overwhelming thermal conductivity 5.7 times that of improved hard rings. When the line is suddenly pulled strongly or when reeling in a large fish, instantaneous high heat is generated at the contact point with the ring. SiC rings instantly dissipate this heat, protecting your valuable line. Superior Smoothness SiC rings feature a mirror-polished finish at a gem-like level. Because SiC, which is hard and resistant to deformation, is polished to extreme smoothness through a special manufacturing process, the surface is smooth even under a microscope. In line cutting tests compared to improved hard rings, it recorded over 20 times the line lifespan due to its astonishingly low friction resistance (our test).
