# Click here for our Stag Beetle & Rhinoceros Beetle Listings on Mercari! This listing is for fresh-scented coniferous pellets developed specifically for raising adult stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles. 15 photos are attached. Brightly colored pellets are recommended for adult stag beetle and rhinoceros beetle care. Standard insect substrates are dark, making the inside of the enclosure dark and causing beetles of similar colors to be less visible. In contrast, these pellets are a bright cream color, which brightens the enclosure. Because the color contrasts with the beetles, your stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles will stand out, look magnificent, and be clearly observable! This is an excellent substrate for display purposes. Your stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles will stand out, making raising them even more enjoyable. To use, simply spread about 3cm on the bottom of the enclosure. Pellets are a woody substrate made by finely crushing and compressing coniferous wood. They are ideal for insect and animal bedding. Furthermore, unlike hardwood substrates, coniferous pellets do not produce unpleasant odors or attract mites. They are also effective in removing mites from insects. Made from crushed, pesticide-free domestic coniferous wood, these pellets are harmless and safe for rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles. Coniferous wood has excellent insect-repelling, antibacterial, and deodorizing effects. We highly recommend them for adult beetle care. They allow for clean and visually appealing adult stag beetle and rhinoceros beetle care. Natural components like phytoncides suppress the growth of bacteria and mold. They undergo a mild sterilization process to remove any components harmful to stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles. They have a natural wood scent and are easy to use indoors. Their deodorizing effect also maintains a clean environment. Being pelletized makes storage and replacement easy. When broken down, they turn into sawdust. Pellets also absorb excess moisture. When they absorb moisture, the substrate becomes powdery and expands to three times its original volume, as shown in the image. The fluffy and warm powdery mat makes an excellent bed for overwintering. Instead of the strong fermented smell of hardwood substrates, these coniferous pellets have a subtly refreshing scent, making insect rearing a pleasant experience. Quantity: 10 Liters (When moisture is absorbed, they become fluffy and expand from 10 liters to approximately 30 liters in volume) Can be stored long-term in a resealable bag.
