Thank you for viewing. These are 5-year-old asparagus rootstocks carefully cultivated over 5 years in the rich natural environment of Aso. We believe that 5-year-old asparagus rootstocks are rare and valuable due to their limited availability in the market. Normally, it takes 2-3 years to harvest asparagus from seed. However, these are already powerful 5-year-old large rootstocks that have stored energy. They are ready-to-use plants that can be expected to produce thick, sweet asparagus early after planting. ■ Features of this product 5 years of nutrient accumulation For 5 years, these rootstocks have been exposed to the sun in vast fields, allowing them to store abundant nutrients in their roots. They have a very strong force to push out new shoots and are a professional-grade size that is difficult to obtain for home gardens. Sweetness nurtured by Aso's temperature difference These rootstocks were grown in an environment blessed with harsh cold and abundant water. The asparagus that sprouts from them has tender fibers and is known for its overflowing sweetness as you chew. We will deliver them with the utmost care. ■ Cultivation tips Once planted, asparagus is a long-lasting vegetable that can be harvested for over 10 years. Planting: Spread the roots and plant them in a deep trench mixed with compost. Location: Prefers sunny locations. Watering: Be careful of dryness and water generously when shoots emerge. The 5-year-old rootstocks have excellent root development, so even beginners should have little trouble and can experience strong shoot growth. ■ Shipping and packaging To prevent the roots from drying out, they will be packed in a moderately moist state (e.g., wrapped in newspaper or with soil attached). Due to the very large size of the rootstocks, the weight may be 10kg to 15kg or more. You may be surprised by the volume upon arrival, but that is proof of the harvest yield. As these are living organisms, please plant them as soon as possible after arrival. When planting, give them plenty of compost and water. #AsparagusRootstock #5YearOldAsparagusRootstock #Asparagus #Seedling #Planting Click here for the manufacturer's site
