This is a medical-grade rigid corset (trunk orthosis). Rigid Lumbar Corset This is a rigid corset made of plastic. It has almost no flexibility, unlike a soft corset. This corset is designed for stronger support and immobilizes the affected area. It is often prescribed for lumbar compression fractures, spondylitis, and post-surgery for spinal stenosis. This is an orthosis that firmly immobilizes the spine to prevent bending. Recommended for those who need to immobilize their lumbar spine due to back treatment, post-surgery, back pain, or compression fractures. This was custom-made for therapeutic purposes by a hospital-designated orthotist, and I recall purchasing it for around 60,000 yen. Size Waist circumference: Approx. 70-85cm Height: Back: 34cm, Front: 36cm Waist circumference is adjustable with Velcro. Orthoses are expensive items, so this may be suitable for those whose size fits, those who want to try it out, or those who are looking for a used item after being recommended to purchase one from a hospital. It has been handled with care, so I believe there are no noticeable scratches or stains. It was used for about one month and then stored at home. Please understand that it is a used item with some minor scuffs. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment. Immediate purchase is also welcome. Click here for the manufacturer's site
