Antique Art Deco style brooch featuring a central red stone flanked by clear accent stones. Design and Features The piece exhibits several hallmarks of the Art Deco era (circa 1920s–1930s) or Art Deco-inspired jewelry: Geometric Design: It has a distinctive symmetrical, angular shape with a central rectangular plaque and triangular end-pieces. Stones: The center features a large, rectangular-cut (emerald or radiant cut) ruby-colored stone. Depending on the quality, this center could be a genuine ruby, a synthetic ruby, or scarlet red glass, common in costume jewelry from this period. Accents: It is flanked by three clear stones on each side, which are likely glass paste. Metalwork: The setting appears to be a darkened metal with millegrain detailing (fine beading along the edges), often seen in white gold, platinum, or sterling silver jewelry of that era. good vintage condition-some wear on back of brooch. pin is working
