Natural Momo Coral, Large Obi Clasp

Color: Momo Coral, Pink-Orange with subtle shading
Size (approx.): Width 8cm, Height 6cm

This is natural coral, not an artificial product like resin or composite materials.
It has natural coral's characteristic fu (pores/inclusions), which can be enjoyed as part of its unique charm.

There is no engraving on the metal fitting on the back.
It does not appear to be made of materials like K18 or Pt. There is discoloration due to corrosion.

There are no chips that I can see.
Please check the photos, as we have taken pictures all around the front and back.

The mesh of the flower basket and the overlapping rose petals are highly three-dimensional and intricate.
This is a three-dimensional design meticulously hand-carved by a skilled artisan, with detailed craftsmanship extending to the back.

While obi clasps are typically accessories for casual kimonos, with a luxurious material like coral and this substantial size, it can also be worn with semi-formal attire.

Coral is delicate, so it will be carefully packaged with bubble wrap and securely delivered in a compact delivery box.

This item is from a private home collection and is an antique. We ask that only those who understand and appreciate antique items purchase it.
