This listing is for 2 PYREX casserole dishes made in France by de Corning. Both dishes are in very good condition without any cracks or chips. There are light surface scratches on both pieces from previous use. Both pieces have a contemporary raised line design surrounding the entire outside of the dish. When Corning sold it company, French made PYREX continued to use the same high quality thermal resistant borosilicate glass to make PYREX as the original vintage made pieces from Corning NY. Most all Pyrex sold today in the US is made from a lesser quality soda-line glass produced in China. These 2 dishes made by de Corning are sought after by both collectors and users who still desire original PYREX glass. The dimensions of the dishes are; # 242 6-cup capacity 8.5L x 6.5W x 2.5H x 2.25 Deep # 243 11-cup capacity 9.5L x 7.5W x 3H x 2.75 Deep Both pieces have the same raised trademark printing on the bottom and indicate no stovetop no broiler. The listing is for a set of 2.
