Step back into mid-century elegance with this stunning, authentic 1960s Sarah Coventry Galaxy demiparure jewelry set. This iconic collectible set features a matching Maltese cross statement brooch (which doubles as a pendant) and a pair of coordinating clip-on earrings. Crafted with elaborate, textured gold-tone filigree framework, the design is heavily embellished with shimmering Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones that catch the light beautifully. At the center of each piece sits a pristine faux pearl, surrounded by Sarah Coventry’s signature teardrop lucite cabochons. The cabochons boast a vibrant, marbled confetti or foil flecked look in rich jewel tones of sapphire blue, emerald green, and ruby red. * Overall: Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of age. * Cabochons & Rhinestones: All stones are present, original, and tightly set. The AB rhinestones are bright and clear. * Faux Pearls: Excellent luster with no peeling, flaking, or loss of coating. * Metalwork: The gold-tone plating remains bright and clean with no heavy tarnish. * Hardware: The rolling C-clasp on the brooch and the clips on the earrings are fully functional, firm, and secure. The brooch features a built-in bale hook to easily transition onto a necklace chain. This highly wearable set is a must-have for vintage costume jewelry collectors and makes a dramatic statement piece for modern styling. Stamped with the official Sarah Cov hallmark on the back of each piece.
