Thank you for viewing our retro products. ■ SEGA Game Gear Blue (Late Model) Internal capacitors fully replaced (Replaced with multilayer chip capacitors except for the power board) [Product Description] On April 27, 2026, the internal capacitors of the Game Gear unit were replaced with multilayer chip capacitors that are less prone to liquid leakage. The exterior and interior have been cleaned as thoroughly as possible. Contact restorer has been applied to the internal sound and brightness dials to ensure smooth operation. The contacts of various buttons have been cleaned with contact restorer, and the buttons and keypad have been washed. Operation was confirmed using a Mega Drive AC adapter and six dry batteries. (See photos) *There is no rust in the battery box, and during operation checks, there were no issues with button responsiveness or sound/brightness adjustments. ⚫︎ The LCD screen shows signs of age-related deterioration, with unevenness and vinegar syndrome visible when the screen is lit. While this does not affect gameplay, those concerned may find it suitable as a base for IPS LCD replacement. *If you have trouble starting software, cleaning the contact terminals of your software may improve the success rate. Compatibility with your software may vary, and we cannot guarantee immediate startup. We appreciate your understanding and consent. *Please note that this is a DIY repair, so please consider this carefully before purchasing. ◎ This Game Gear is a late model, and SEGA License is displayed upon startup. ⚫︎ As this is the original shell and LCD screen from the era, there may be discoloration, missing text, dents/scratches (deep scratches, etc.), scuffs, dirt, and dust. *For photo purposes, software, dry batteries, and AC adapters are not included in the product. Please understand. As this is an old item, there are scratches. We cannot guarantee future operation of consumable parts other than the repaired areas after product arrival. Please consider this as a junk item. Furthermore, we do not accept returns after purchase, so please consider this carefully before purchasing. ◎ After a final operation check before shipping, the product will be wrapped in bubble wrap, waterproofed, and shipped in a dedicated box.
