Offered is a beautiful vintage hand-embroidered Gujarati/Kutch textile featuring intricate patchwork, colorful embroidery, and authentic inset glass mirrors. Constructed from numerous hand-stitched fabric panels with traditional motifs, this striking piece was likely created in India during the early 20th century (circa 1900–1930). The genuine glass mirrors, extensive hand embroidery, natural wear, and hand-finished construction suggest an older example rather than a later tourist reproduction. Large examples of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to find, making it an excellent display piece for collectors of tribal, folk, and ethnographic textiles. From the home of an antiquities collector in Beverly Hills, CA. Size: 59 L × 37.5 W Photos are of the actual item you will receive. Please review all images carefully for condition and age-related wear. Keywords: Gujarati textile, Kutch embroidery, Rabari embroidery, Banjara textile, Indian mirror work, shisha embroidery, vintage wall hanging
