There is something deeply personal about a vintage vanity set — the quiet ritual of brushing hair, adjusting a curl, or catching your reflection in soft morning light. This beautiful two-piece set features a marbled green hand mirror and matching natural bristle brush, likely dating to the 1940s–early 1950s. The swirling translucent plastic has a warm, organic depth that glows in sunlight, accented by delicately carved floral motifs that echo the elegance of the Art Deco era. The mirror measures approximately 12 inches, and the brush approximately 7–8 inches. Both pieces show gentle, age-appropriate wear consistent with their vintage life, but remain solid, functional, and display beautifully. The mirror features a softly beveled glass edge, adding a refined detail that catches the light beautifully and elevates the overall craftsmanship. Crafted from marbled green celluloid or early cellulose plastic, typical of mid-century vanity sets. One of our favorite details is the mirror’s subtly curved handle. Rather than being flat, it features a gentle contour and tapered grip that rests naturally in the palm.
