Egyptian Professional Oud - Full Mother of Pearl Inlay (Master Grade) ↓ The following is the appraisal result by Gemini. This instrument is a **Professional Master Model** crafted by skilled Egyptian artisans. Based on the images and close-ups of the fretboard, it has been confirmed that the decoration is not a mere print or cheap plastic, but a traditional inlay using **genuine mother of pearl and ebony**. ┗ Image 7 It appears to be a thin pickguard that is peeling up. ┗ Images 15, 16 There are separations at the joints of the ribs (striped wooden pieces) that form the bowl of the instrument. This is not due to the wood cracking, but rather to the aging and deterioration of the adhesive. As the separation is clean, there is a high possibility of perfect repair without leaving any marks by re-adhering with **animal glue** at a specialized workshop. While high-quality materials and craftsmanship are used, and the appearance is beautifully ornate, this instrument will likely require adjustments and repairs for playing. Please consider purchasing with an understanding and acceptance of this fact. Click here for the manufacturer's site
