This is a French Luthier Gérard mandolin, loved by professional musicians, including Mr. Yoshida of Marionette. It has been fully adjusted by experts. Bridge: Made of brass. This provides a clearer sound with a longer sustain. Tuning pegs: Replaced with pegs from a multi-string guitar. This eliminates the stress often associated with tuning Gérard mandolins. Frets and fingerboard have been replaced from the original. These are thin, mushroom-type frets. The instrument is ready for immediate performance. We believe that a Gérard mandolin in good condition, ready for immediate concert performance, is quite rare. It will be shipped in a hard case. Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to negotiate the price if you are considering purchasing. We will consider your offer within our capabilities. Click here for the manufacturer's site
