An Old German Violin Bow Conrad Gotz Stamp: Gotz Size: 4/4 Actual Measurement: 740mm (to screw end) Weight: 60.8g Balance Point: Around 250mm (from screw end) Fittings: Nickel silver fittings / Pure silver lapping This is a relatively new bow (around 1950s). The stamp is engraved on the frog. As it is a piece from about 50 years ago, it is not in perfect condition without scratches like a new item, but it is in good condition (please refer to the images). This is a bow from the prestigious German workshop Conrad Gotz, which has been in operation from 1883 to the present day. It possesses not only stiffness but also a supple flexibility that adheres well, making it feel like it obediently follows the player's right hand. While it is not an expensive bow, its performance exceeds its price, making it highly cost-effective. I am parting with some of the violin bows I have collected with passion, but this is not a bow to be sold off cheaply, so you should be able to derive satisfaction from owning it. I believe you can also hold onto it as an asset after purchase. It will be shipped in a PVC pipe or similar to prevent damage. Please make payment within one week. I also promise to ship within one week after payment is completed. I will be listing other bows sequentially, so I appreciate your understanding. Returns are not accepted to prevent fraudulent exchanges. *Recently, I have seen my instrument images being used without permission and sold on fake websites, but this is unrelated to me. As a preventative measure, I have added a watermark to the images. Click here for the manufacturer's site
