Sevcik Violin Method OPUS 1 PART 1 SCHOOL OF VIOLIN TECHNIQUE Book Overview↓ The Sevcik Violin Method, with over 100 years of history, is essential for learning the fundamentals of violin playing. Published in 1901, it has been used by many people worldwide and is consistently recommended as the go-to method for learning basic techniques – truly a bible for violinists. This product is the Japanese licensed edition of OPUS 1 PART 1, revised in 2000 by the publisher, BOSWORTH. It includes not only the key points for each etude, which are most important in a method book, but also details on the differences between the current edition and the first edition, as well as technical points to be aware of, all explained in Japanese. This will be a powerful ally for continuing your practice according to your goals. Furthermore, this Japanese licensed edition includes not only Japanese but also the original German, English, and French texts. This traditional Sevcik method, Op.1-1, covers exercises from the very basics of violin playing, including left-hand fingerings and intonation in the first position, to leaps, arpeggios, and double stops. Additionally, a list of the etudes covered in this method and their objectives is provided at the beginning. This makes it useful even for those who have practiced violin to some extent and can play, when they want to return to the basics and review their weak points or areas they particularly want to practice. Use this method book, loved by violinists worldwide, to firmly grasp the fundamentals of violin playing technique and take the shortcut to improving your violin skills.
