Jay Haide a l'ancienne Made in California, USA, 2003 16-inch (405mm) Viola Jay Haide is an original string instrument brand from Ifshin Violins in the USA. All models are meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans using Himalayan maple and spruce, which are highly regarded as top-quality tonewoods, and finished with a traditional Cremona varnish. These instruments achieve an astonishingly low price point, unheard of for such high-grade instruments, and have gained widespread popularity worldwide. The a l'ancienne model features an antique finish reminiscent of old master instruments, producing a deep, resonant, and wonderfully projecting tone. It's no exaggeration to say that this viola possesses the capability to fundamentally change the perception that master instruments, capable of lasting a lifetime, are prohibitively expensive. *Equipped with fine-tune pegs (geared pegs). These pegs allow for precise and perfect tuning, and the strings won't unwind due to tension. This is especially beneficial for those who struggle with tuning, saving time and reducing stress. This is the larger 16-inch size, but it is not difficult to play due to its size, allowing you to easily enjoy the powerful resonance characteristic of the viola. Having been played for some time since its manufacture and kept in good conditions, it is now stable. This is a rare viola that doesn't often appear on the used market, so don't miss this opportunity. This viola set originally cost over 500,000 yen. Set Contents: - Viola Body - Bow: Workshop-made Pernambuco bow (new) - Strings: Nylon strings (new) - Rosin: Milan Dark - Mute: Tourte Mute - Original Cloth (new) - Shoulder Rest: Kun collapsible - Case: Super Light (includes blanket, key, string tube, and shoulder strap) Everything you need is included, so you can start playing right away. Fully adjusted (bridge adjustment, peg adjustment, soundpost adjustment, polishing, cleaning, overall adjustment). There are some scratches and dirt from use, but overall it is in healthy and clean condition. The case shows some signs of use. The instrument has been adjusted and maintained, so you can start playing immediately after tuning. Click here for the manufacturer's site
