[100% Natural] This beeswax has a honey-like aroma as it undergoes no bleaching or refining processes other than melting and heating. It is easier for swarms of Japanese honeybees to inhabit a hive when this beeswax is applied to the ceiling and inner walls for capturing them. [Safe and Secure Beeswax] Beeswax from Western honeybees (not labeled as Japanese honeybee beeswax) can have residual acaricide issues. However, Japanese honeybee beeswax is free from acaricides, making it a valuable, safe, and secure option (see *1). You can confidently use it as an ingredient for lip balm, hand cream, waxes, and more. It is also used in food products like baked cannelés. [Beeswax Material and Processing] The beeswax was obtained from the combs of Japanese honeybees raised in the countryside of Kishu Kumano. After honey extraction last autumn, the combs were frozen. Last week, they were heated with water to melt, the supernatant beeswax was separated, and then filtered through a paper filter. [Bulk Purchase Welcome] For bulk purchase requests, please tap on the product details page or the seller. For every product purchased in bulk, you will receive a ￥200 discount on the total amount. Please understand that further discounts are not possible. [Shipping] We will ship anonymously via Rakuraku Mercari便 or Yuu-yuu Mercari便. Please note that shipping via Eco Mercari便 is not possible from the seller's region. Thank you for your understanding. Reference *1 Industrial beekeeping primarily uses Western honeybees, which are susceptible to mites (Varroa destructor). The use of acaricides within the hives is common, and the residue of these acaricide active ingredients (such as fluvalinate) in the beeswax is a concern. In contrast, the native wild species, Japanese honeybees, are resistant to Varroa mites and can be raised without the use of acaricides. Therefore, Japanese honeybee beeswax is safe and secure, with no worries about residual acaricide components. #JapaneseHoneybee #SwarmCapture #Beeswax #Beekeeping #Candle #Handmade Click here for the manufacturer's site
