Even when used as mechanical media, its ring shape makes it less prone to clogging, allowing for longer cleaning intervals. ☆It does not affect the pH or hardness of the water, so it can be safely used with fish species sensitive to water quality. ●It has a large surface area and is also effective for biological filtration. Shape: Ring (diameter 9-12mm x length 9-13mm) ☆☆Features of Substrate Pro☆☆ This is a high-performance filter media from Eheim, known for its high performance and durability. It achieves a large surface area of approximately 450m2 per liter. Its porous structure with appropriately sized pores provides ideal conditions for the colonization of filtration bacteria, quickly stabilizing the water quality immediately after setup. Does not affect water quality. Please wash thoroughly with tap water before use. #Medaka #Eheim #gex #Filter #MegaPower #gex #Aquarium #FishTank #Goldfish #FilterMedia #FilterMedia #TropicalFish #Arowana #ExternalFilter #HangOnBackFilter #SmallPack #Portioned #Trial Click here for the manufacturer's site
