This is the VS-S2, the model before the current Strobostomp lineup. Peterson tuners are the originators of strobe tuning, and their products remain the industry standard today. With an accuracy of ±0.1 cents, it stands apart from other tuners. For reference, typical clip-on tuners have an accuracy of ±1 cent, and even higher-end models are around ±0.5 cents. It's worth noting that many other models from major brands like B, K, and T, even those claiming up to ±0.1 cents accuracy, often have reduced accuracy outside of strobe mode. While the current model features a dual-row strobe bar display, this unit's normal mode offers a four-row display, allowing for even more precise adjustments than the current model. It also has multiple presets, enabling settings tailored to the specific characteristics of different instruments like guitars. Features include DI OUT, true bypass, and compatibility with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System. This item is being sold due to equipment consolidation as I change my pedalboard system. I was using it until just the other day, and I believe there are no functional issues, but please be aware that there are some scratches and dirt.
