EUC Vintage Chenille Bed Throw 46x84 | Mid Century Floral Coverlet | Cottagecore Pink Roses | White Hobnail Cotton | Shabby Chic Decor Rare Mid-Century Chenille Coverlet / Decorative Bed Throw Bring timeless cottage charm to your home with this beautiful vintage cotton chenille coverlet dating to approximately 1948–1955. Featuring soft pastel pink and lavender cabbage roses, scrolling blue accents, a textured hobnail/checkerboard chenille center, and a delicately scalloped edge, this is a truly eye-catching piece of mid-century textile art. Unlike full-size chenille bedspreads, this measures 46 × 84, making it ideal as a decorative foot-of-bed throw, daybed cover, bench accent, sofa throw, or layered cottage-style décor. After extensive research, I have not been able to identify another example with this exact pattern, suggesting it may have originally been part of a coordinated mid-century bedroom ensemble produced by an American chenille mill, likely in Dalton, Georgia, during the golden age of chenille manufacturing. Details • Approximate Date: 1948–1955 • Material: Cotton chenille • Size: 46 × 84 • Colors: White, pastel pink, lavender, blue, and mint green • Floral garlands on both short ends • Raised hobnail/checkered chenille center •Straight finished edges • Faint original factory ink stamp remains on reverse No significant staining, holes, or repairs were noted. Please review all photographs as they are considered part of the description.
