Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage Little Red Riding Hood open sugar bowl produced by Hull Pottery (decorating handled by Regal China) dating back to the mid-1940s. Designed by Louise Bauer, this piece features the official design patent number incised directly into the base. This piece is in truly excellent vintage condition, which is highly uncommon for this specific line. Condition Highlights: * No Structural Damage: No chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs. * Excellent Paint: The notorious red cold paint on her hood is incredibly well-preserved with minimal to no flaking. * Vibrant Decals: The floral poppy and violet decals on the front are completely intact and vibrant. * Glaze: Bright, shiny glaze finish with exceptionally minimal, clean vintage crazing consistent with age. Specifications: * Manufacturer: Hull Pottery / Regal China * Era: circa 1940s–1950s * Dimensions: Approximately 4.25 High x 5 Wide * Markings: Clearly incised on the base with PAT. DES. NO. 135889 (Louise E. Bauer 1943 design patent). This is a beautiful addition to any mid-century kitchen, Hull Pottery collection, or fairy tale nursery decor. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description. Items will be packed with extreme care using high-quality bubble wrap and materials to ensure safe transit.
