Vintage Japanese porcelain ginger jar imported by **OMC (Otagiri Mercantile Company)**, featuring an original OMC Japan foil label and a blue kiln mark consistent with the **Kazan/Kazan-gama** kiln. The classic baluster form is decorated with colorful floral panels of irises, chrysanthemums, and flowering branches against a rich cobalt blue ground with extensive gilt detailing. The fitted domed lid with gold finial and vibrant Imari-inspired decoration make this an elegant display piece for a mantel, bookshelf, console, or china cabinet. A beautiful addition to Chinoiserie, Traditional, Grandmillennial, and Asian-inspired décor. **Condition:** Very good vintage condition. Light age-related wear, including minor wear to portions of the gilt decoration and light surface wear consistent with age and display. The original OMC Japan foil label remains attached. No major chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Please review photos carefully. **Measurements:** • Height: 8 (to top of finial) • Diameter: 5 • Weight: 1 lb **Features:** • Japanese porcelain • OMC (Otagiri Mercantile Company) foil label • Kazan/Kazan-gama style kiln mark • Imari-inspired floral decoration • Cobalt blue ground with gilt accents • Removable domed lid • Vintage 1970s
