**Item Description:** Up for sale is an estate-found vintage 1940s/1950s A.C. Gilbert Co. No. 6 ½ All Electric Erector Set lot. This collection is highlighted by its highly sought-after, post-WWII blue-cased electric induction motor which has been fully bench-tested and runs great! Included Documentation: 1. Original How to Make 'Em Book (Featuring the iconic 1938 A.C. Gilbert Co. Copyright outline) 2. Original The New Erector Blueprint Booklet What is Included: - **Electric Motor Unit:** Tested, functional, and working smoothly. Includes the matching silver-finish P-58 Boiler Shell housing component. - **Original Red Metal Case:** Features the classic yellow Erector shield graphic logo on the lid. Shows honest surface wear and minor oxidation typical for its age. - **Massive Parts Assortment:** Heavy steel components including flanged straight girders, perforated base plates, specialized curved track segments, silver pulley wheels with red inserts, base attachment brackets, long axel rods, pinion gears, and a loose tray mix of square nuts and slot screws. Condition Notes: This is an open builder's lot sold as-shown. Parts exhibit minor cosmetic oxidation and finish wear from storage, but are structurally sound. Manuals have expected handling creases, edge wear, and loose pages. The motor runs wonderfully.
