NAGAOKA x Shimamura Music Guitar Practice Headphones NS101GHP - Designed for Guitarists Original Purchase Price: ¥5,500 Purchase Date: March 14, 2026 Product Condition: Used once for testing. Virtually indistinguishable from new. ~Excerpt from Purchase Website~ Collaborated with Nagaoka, recognized by audio enthusiasts worldwide, to create headphones that help improve guitar playing. Sound tuning to faithfully reproduce guitar sound. The low frequencies are tuned to reproduce the entire low-frequency range richly, rather than being overly bass-heavy. The high frequencies are tuned with emphasis to ensure the guitar's original sound is clearly audible. What's important for guitar practice is to clearly hear performance nuances and tonal changes in the guitar's true sound. Many users have commented that the bass-boosted settings common in headphones of this price range are suitable for enjoying listening to music, but make it difficult to discern the sonic elements necessary for practicing performance expression and guitar techniques. Therefore, with the NS101GHP, the low frequencies are not excessively bass-heavy, and the high frequencies are tuned with emphasis, allowing the guitar's original sound to be clearly heard without losing fine details of the original sound. It also supports Hi-Res audio playback. Easy-to-handle long cable A 2.7m long cable is adopted to prevent the headphone cable from getting in the way during performance. This allows for a natural distance from the amplifier and does not interfere with playing. Velour ear pads for comfortable wear during long practice sessions While most headphones in this price range use synthetic leather ear pads, the NS101GHP uses velour ear pads, which are often found in professional headphones used for music production. Developed by Nagaoka and Shimamura Music, these headphones are designed for guitarists, pursuing the ideal headphones for guitar practice. Click here for the manufacturer's site
