It's a mid-century California pottery piece from the 1944-1955 era and produced by Laguna Beach Ceramic Originals or just Freeman Leidy. These ornate birds pair with floral bases and gold accents and are collector favorites, especially in pink/gold colors. This beautiful and RARE sculpture is signed on the back. The piece is in excellent condition for its age. I do see a light crazing on the birds. Ive only found 2 very small nicks and they are noted in the photos. It has tons of intricate flowers and leaves with exquisite details and gilding. Sculpture is 13h x 15w (bird tip to tip) The base is 8 x 5 Measurements are approximate. See photos It is a very rare collectible sculpture and especially in this pristine condition. I will bubble wrap, foam pack and double box for protection in shipping. *Any shipping charges over $40 will be covered by me the seller. ID PREFER A PICK UP RATHER THAN TO SHIP IF POSSIBLE.
