Exquisite mid-century vintage envelope clutch handcrafted in India by The Indian Textiles Co. Ltd. Features intricate, raised Zardozi (metallic bullion thread) hand embroidery across the entire black velvet body in a fan/scallop floral pattern. Opens with a metal snap on the flap to reveal a clean black satin lining with the original woven blue-and-white maker's tag intact. Features: Maker: The Indian Textiles Co. Ltd. (Original tag sewn inside listing heritage cities including Benares, Bombay, and Calcutta) Artisan Technique: Zardozi / Zari heavy metallic thread couching and embroidery Closure: Front flap with single snap button Interior: Black satin lining with an inner side slip pocket Approximate Flat Measurements (Pictured with Ruler): Width: ~9.5 inches Height: ~5 inches Condition Details: Overall Rating: Vintage Excellent Condition.
