Antique Victorian-era mechanical Valentine card, printed in Germany and dating to approximately 1890-1915. Beautiful embossed chromolithograph design featuring children gathering flowers, surrounded by die-cut lacework and roses. Original pull-tab mechanical feature remains present, though the card shows age-related wear and separation from the mechanism. A lovely example of turn-of-the-century Valentine's Day ephemera, displaying the intricate paper engineering and colorful artwork that made German-made holiday cards highly collectible. Condition: * Age toning throughout * Tears, creases, and edge wear * Mechanical section detached/separated * Sold as found and pictured Measures approximately 7.5 tall x 4.5 wide.
