Thank you for viewing. We are selling items made by an individual under the name innermountain GUITAR and miscellaneous. We have a small selection of other items available, so please click on the seller's name to view our other listings. This product is a set of wooden backplates for a GIBSON Les Paul. It is based on the backplates from a 1998 Historic Collection model. The set includes one plate for the control cavity (where the volume and tone pots are stored) and one plate for the pickup selector switch. Please consider these for upgrading from your genuine backplates or for replacing aged and deteriorated ones. [Product Details] The wood used is walnut. You can see the curly grain that occurred during the tree's growth, which shimmers like quilted maple. Combined with the deep, dark brown color of the walnut, it creates a very beautiful finish. The finish is an oil finish using Xotic Oil Gel. Due to the characteristics of Xotic Oil Gel, a film is formed even with an oil finish, resulting in a glossy appearance. The thickness is approximately 2.5mm, the same as genuine plastic parts. Product dimensions are shown in the 10th photo, so please check them before purchasing. While we measure as accurately as possible, please understand that there may be slight errors due to the handmade nature of the product. Wood hardener is used to prevent warping and cracking. However, as it is made of wood, there is a possibility of warping or cracking if the screws are tightened too much, if the item is impacted, or due to changes in humidity. Please be aware of this. Please be especially careful when tightening the screws during installation. As shown in the photos, we have confirmed the installation on a guitar body. Mounting screws are not included, so please be aware of this. #innermountain #gibson #lespaul #backplate #walnut #guitarparts #wood [Management Number: BK-200326g] Click here for the manufacturer's site
